We Found Love starts off poorly
Rihanna’s new single, “We Found Love” (featuring Calvin Harris), debuts at No. 7 with 117,000 after only four days of sales. The single was released on Sept. 22, while the chart tracking week ended on Sunday, Sept. 25. “Found” is the first single from Rihanna’s sixth studio album, due Nov. 21. Meanwhile, “Cheers (Drink to That),” the final single from her previous album, “Loud,” slips 9-10 with 114,000 (down 5%).
A brand new single selling barely more than a single that’s been out for several weks and that was originally released almost a year ago with its accompanying album? That is not very impressive. Rihanna and her label should be worried, very worried.
